Join Jennifer De Leon - editor, author, and professor of Creative Writing  - for this honest and inspirational talk. Jennifer will share some of the ways in which "story" can provide crucial insight into the complex intersection of race, class, and educational issues, dispelling myths and showcasing the diversity of our shared community's experiences.

Jennifer De Leon is the award-winning author of YA novel Don’t Ask Me Where I’m From, and essay collection White Space: Essays on Culture, Race, & Writing. She is also an active speaker, presenter, and educator who loves to connect with readers of all ages. Jenn’s new novel, Borderless, was published April 2023. Jennifer lives outside of Boston and her first novel centers around students in the METCO program.
