Third and Fourth Graders, along with a favorite adult, are invited to join Beebe Library's First Thursday Book Club.

Share the love of reading in your family! We will be reading some of the very best middle grade books and explore beyond the plot to seek the themes, the authors' secret purpose, and what makes each book special. Along with the discussion, there will be a craft or activity and a snack to take home that goes along with each month's book.

The book is H.I.V.E by Mark Walden.
An orphan gets accepted into a super secret school in a world existing alongside ours. He is the most talented new student and has a mysterious connection to the Headmaster. He starts doing things that cause all the students and teachers to know his name. Sound familiar? He's not Harry Potter or Percy Jackson and his school trains the next generation of super-villain!
