Third and Fourth Graders, along with a favorite adult, are invited to join Beebe Library's First Thursday Book Club.

Share the love of reading in your family! We will be reading some of the very best middle grade books and explore beyond the plot to seek the themes, the authors' secret purpose, and what makes each book special. Along with the discussion, there will be a craft or activity and a snack to take home that goes along with each month's book.

The book is City Spies by James Ponti. Five kids with unique skills (like breaking and entering, computer hacking, and sleight of hand) are invited (coerced) to join with Mother (An agent in a secret branch of the British spy agency MI6) because kids can go to places adults can’t in the world of espionage. Their new job is stopping international crimes and learning to work together!
