Third and Fourth Graders, along with a favorite adult, are invited to join Beebe Library's First Thursday Book Club.

Share the love of reading in your family! We will be reading some of the very best middle grade books and explore beyond the plot to seek the themes, the authors' secret purpose, and what makes each book special. Along with the discussion, there will be a craft or activity and a snack to take home that goes along with each month's book.

June's book is The Courage Test by James Preller. Will has no choice. He will be spending the summer following the trail of Lewis and Clark with his college professor father. A combination of humor, history, thrilling adventures, and eye-opening chance encounters with strangers, makes Will’s forced trip a journey he will never forget.
