Third and Fourth Graders, along with a favorite adult, are invited to join Beebe Library's First Thursday Book Club.

Share the love of reading in your family! We will be reading some of the very best middle grade books and explore beyond the plot to seek the themes, the authors' secret purpose, and what makes each book special. Along with the discussion, there will be a craft or activity and a snack to take home that goes along with each month's book.

This month’s book: Charlotte's Web,  by E.B. White

Charlotte’s Web is a must-read classic! This beautifully written story tells of a girl, Fern, who saved the life of Wilbur, the runt of a litter of piglets. Wilbur loves Fern, and also his dear friend Charlotte, a spider who lives in the barn. This timeless story is a celebration of farm life, changing seasons, and the wonders of life and death.

Registration opens the morning of the previous book club at 9am. Please register adult and child who will attend.
