The March trilogy by John Lewis and Andrew Aydin follows the story of the life of Civil Rights Activist and Congressman, John Lewis. The son of a sharecropper and believer in nonviolent civil disobedience, Lewis became one of the leaders in the fight for Civil Rights. This brilliant graphic novel trilogy gives us the perspective of someone who was in the middle of the fight for African American equality. Over three Fridays, we will read and discuss the trilogy, plus share a snack and activity.
