Ever been for a walk at Breakheart or in the Middlesex Fells and wondered how old those giant rocks you're climbing over are? Or what they're made of? Geologist Richard William Butts will have the answers for your when he joins us to discuss the local geology of our area. 

Richard William Butts holds a Master of Science in Environmental Studies with a Geoscience concentration from the University of Massachusetts Lowell, and a Bachelor of Science in Geological Sciences and Environmental Geoscience from Bridgewater State University. Richard presents the local geology of a variety of towns at their local libraries as a Travelling Lecturer.
