Time to show off your pets! Kids in kindergarten through grade 4, bring your dogs, cats, rabbits, turtles, goldfish, and more to the Beebe’s first ever Pet Show on Zoom! Join Miss Nancy, Miss Heidi, and Miss Annie, who will be the judges of the Pet Show, and present your pets! Every participant will get two minutes to introduce their pet and share why they’re special. At the end the judges will award each pet a unique, individual certificate!

Tips on Showing Your Pet

Congratulations! You will have the opportunity to showcase your pet at Beebe’s Virtual Pet Show on Wednesday, July 1 at 11 AM.

Pet handlers will make a short presentation to the judges. The list below will help you frame your pet’s story. These suggestions are meant to be helpful for you and to get you thinking about what makes your pet unique and special. Not all of them apply to your pet, and that is okay.

When it is your turn to show you pet, …

• Introduce yourself

• Introduce your pet and its breed or species.

• Does your pet do a trick or play games? It there an activity that your pet enjoys? Does the whole family join in the fun?

• Is your pet a rescue? If not, how did your pet join the family?

• How old is your pet? How long has your pet lived with you?

• Does your pet have any favorite food or treats?

• Does your pet have a favorite toy? Is he or she an active player or more of a snuggler?

• Tell us anything else that you feel makes your pet special.

• Have fun doing this! Judges agree that this is the key to a great presentation!

The judges, Annie, Heidi, and Nancy, may ask you questions. After your presentation, they will thank you and move on to the next person. When everyone is done, Miss Heidi will play games with the contestants while the judges assign awards. After games, the award ceremonies will take place. Your award certificate will be emailed to you later in the day.
