Fan favorite Plaza Jazz returns this summer! Every Thursday evening, enjoy live music and each others' company on the Main Street Plaza. Different musicians every week play in a variety of musical styles.

This week we're featuring Betty's Bounce, a jazz trio that has been performing together since 2010. The band is influenced by a wide variety of music, including swing of the 1930s and 40s, to pop music of the 1960s. Betty’s Bounce is known for their original arrangements of both jazz standards and popular music. They also play originals. The band has recorded 3 albums and is eager to get back into the studio to record their fourth. Whether at a private concert, or a jazz club, Betty’s Bounce creates a toe-tapping experience you won’t want to miss.

Betty’s Bounce has a permanent core line up of Audie Bridges, Curtis Doo, and Zachary Bridges. Audie Bridges is a veteran player, composer and teacher who has played many different styles in his career. Zachary Bridges performs regularly in the Boston area on a wide variety of instruments including upright bass, guitar, mandolin and banjo. Curtis Doo is a multi-instrumentalist and singer. He was a former music teacher in Massachusetts public schools. In addition to its regular personnel, Betty’s Bounce often performs with special guests, including some of the areas best talent.
