The library has long been the repository for back issues of our local newspaper, but until recently those issues were only available on microfilm (remember scrolling through microfilm?). With the advent of digital search technology we are now able to offer a much more useful and fully searchable database that you can use from any computer. With a few clicks of a mouse button and some well-chosen keywords, anyone can learn about all the Wakefield happenings fit to print since 1894!
