Personal Storytelling: How to Find Your Stories and Craft Them for Any Audience (IN PERSON)

Tuesday, February 67:00—8:45 PMLecture HallBeebe Library345 Main Street, Wakefield, MA, 01880

This series takes place on the first four Tuesdays in February (2/6, 2/13, 2/20, 2/27). It is suggested that patrons commit to attending at least two of the workshops. Please register for as MANY workshops as you can and register for each individual workshop you plan on attending, as spaces are limited

Do you have a story to tell? Of course you do! In this four-session series, Lori Strauss, host, Moth StorySLAMs, and Jess Sutich, writer, The Ellen DeGeneres Show and performer Moth GrandSLAM, will teach you how to find your story, how to craft it into an engaging narrative that people can connect with, and how to tailor your tale for your audience. In the fourth session, for those who want to tell their story on stage, we will cover stage presence, using a mic, performing without notes, and working with shows that have themes (like the Moth!).

Registration for this event has now closed.
