Kick off Summer at the Library today from 3 to 5pm! Enjoy a frozen treat and see all the great things that we have planned this summer just for you. Sign up for our annual Summer at the Library program and pick up your lanyards, sticker books, and first scratch tickets, as well as a very special collectible available this day only!

Help us celebrate America’s 250th birthday by showing what it means to be a good neighbor! When you sign up for Summer at the Library, bring along a non-perishable food item to support local families in need. Check here for the Wakefield Food Pantry List of most needed items. Every small act of kindness matters, and together we can make a big difference. You’ll even earn a very special America’s 250th Birthday pin.

There is also a special Limited Time Only Scavenger Hunt that is available only during this kick-off event. Yes, for these two hours only, you can do the hunt and get a special collectible that nobody else is going to have!
