Third and Fourth Graders, along with a favorite adult, are invited to join Beebe Library's First Thursday Book Club.

Share the love of reading in your family! We will be reading some of the very best middle grade books and explore beyond the plot to seek the themes, the authors' secret purpose, and what makes each book special. Along with the discussion, there will be a craft or activity and a snack to take home that goes along with each month's book.

February’s Book: One Dead Spy by Nathan Hale
Author Nathan Hale takes on the story of the real Revolutionary War Spy, Nathan Hale, in the first of the  Hazardous Tales graphic novel series. To delay his hanging, Nathan Hale (the spy) shares his story with a dimwitted hangman and the British Provost overseeing his execution. Hysterically funny and based on 100% true facts!
