For kids entering grades 5-8

Join Holly to read some excellent  graphic novels, and look “between the lines”  to discuss connections, themes, and inside jokes the authors and illustrators created for the reader.

This month’s Book : Hey Kiddo by Jarrett Krosoczka. The author of the hilarious Lunch Lady series of graphic novels, turned his artistic and literary talent to write the story of his unconventional life  in Hey Kiddo. Raised by his grandparents in Worcester, MA, who were not thrilled to raise another kid, he had little contact with his mother suffering from substance abuse. His art was his touchstone as he tried to understand his place in his family and the world.

Registration is required and opens June 1st at 9am.
