For experienced creative writers in grades 4-9, parents are encouraged to attend with children.
Have you ever wanted to write a book? Great news - an exciting opportunity is coming your way! The 2023 Youth Writing Showcase is gearing up. This program gives kids the chance to write their own creative story, design a cover, and have their bound book added to the library's collection for patrons to check out and read with their library cards. The Showcase won't happen until MARCH 2023, but writing a book takes time and sign-ups for the Showcase will begin in early December.
Sound interesting? Want to know more? Join Annie on Tuesday, November 22 at 3:30 PM in the Lecture Hall to learn more details, including how it all works, when everything happens, and what to expect. This is just an informational meeting, so you're not committing to anything by coming, this is just a chance to learn about the showcase! It is recommended a grown-up attend with the young writer (if a parent is attending, please include them in the registration).
Interested but can't make it? Just email Annie at ahochheiser@noblenet.org to get the scoop!
